Candice Olson is one of North America’s most influential interior designers, she creates lighting collections that are original, practical and timeless. Candice attended the University of Calgary in Canada where she simultaneously received her Bachelor of Science degree while traveling the globe playing volleyball on the Canadian National Woman’s Volleyball Team. After University, Candice continued her academic studies at the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University. Upon graduating, Candice was immediately scouted for her remarkable talent by some of North America’s top interior design firms. After honing her skills, in 1994 Candice established her own residential and commercial design practice.

In 2002 after numerous guest-expert appearances on several different TV shows, Candice decided to try her hand at television, hosting a new TV series called Divine Design. Divine Design with Candice Olson debuted simultaneously in the US on HGTV and in Canada on the W network, immediately establishing itself as the #1 rated prime series on both networks. In the US Divine Design is broadcast as many as 14 times per week reaching an average weekly audience of over 9.1M! With outstanding ratings, critical acclaim and an ever expanding audience, Candice continues to make her mark as one of North America’s most trusted and gifted professionals in the Interior Design and media fields.

Candice lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband Jurij and two children, Piper and Beckett.
